It makes me sad when people respond to an event like 9/11 with even more divisive nationalism. My Facebook feed is filled with posts like “Never forget the 2,819 Americans who lost their lives this day. God bless America.” I don’t disagree with the sentiment at all, I just wish people would say…

Just reminiscing about Wicker Park Fest... →
So today was one of those days when I just wanted to relive something that has already happened. I guess a poor quality youtube video will have to suffice in this case. We were standing pretty much right next to the guy filming (maybe ten feet to his right?) Love the song, love the band. Good stuff.
Profound or Profane?
I’m honestly unsure right now if I’m feeling more profound, or more profane. I mean, I most certainly could use a good quote or two to brighten up my thoughts right now, but I’m sure a bout of angry yelling would be just as therapeutic… Well if I go with the latter, I’m sure nobody would appreciate it, and I don’t enjoy being ill-tempered, but the first option...

It’s truly crazy that you can make a freaking intervalometer for time lapse photography!! I’ve yet to test this out on an actual video, but I can assure you that it works!

As of late, I’ve been exploring college and career opportunities. Photojournalism is definitely one of the top vocational options for me, and I feel that Mark Hancock, who wrote this article, did a very good job at swaying me a tiny bit more towards photojournalism.
